Chocolate Raspberry Bars

These delicious raspberry bars are tasty and a great treat that will be sure to please any crowd. I've made them a few times, and everyone loves them. They are one of my boyfriend's favorite treats, so I have to save him a few extra!
These bars have the perfect amount of chocolate so as to satisfy the chocoholics, but not too much so those that aren't chocolate lovers will still enjoy them.

Ingredients:
1 package devil's food cake mix
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 jar (12 ounces) seedless raspberry jam
1 package (10 to 12 ounces) white baking chips
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, egg and butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (crust will appear puffy and dry). Cool on a wire rack. Spread jam over the cool crust, then place in refrigerator.
Melt vanilla chips (best done over the stove in a double boiler) and stir until smooth. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in melted chips. Carefully spread over jam.
Now melt chocolate chips and butter (again, works best in a double boiler) and stir until smooth. Drizzle over the cream cheese layer. You may run a knife through the chocolate for a marbled effect or other desired decorative appearance.
Refrigerate before cutting! Recipe yields between 40-80 bars, depending on desired size.
