A little under 7 months ago, a shy girl named Kayla filled with love for her best friend Ruth, was determined to express her true feelings. Scared and nervous, she somehow gathered the courage to looking into Ruth's eyes and tell her that she loved her, not only as a best friend, but as much much more. Even though the strong feelings of love were not reciprocated, as time continued Kayla and Ruth became a couple. Almost 7 months later, 6 months of being girlfriends Kayla and Ruth returned to the same place where Kayla first confessed her love to Ruth. It was Kayla's birthday, and it was about to become the most unforgettable one she had ever had. Ruth took Kayla's hand and told her how much she loved her, how sure she was about her now, and how much she wanted to be with her for the rest of her life. She may have been unsure of her feelings 6months ago, but today she was beyond 100% sure, as so she knelt down on one knee, pulled out a ring and looked up to Kayla and said, "will you marry me?" Kayla was taken by surprise to say the least, she was also rendered speechless, but when she finally found her voice after a passionate kiss from the love of her life, she said "yes! yes! yes!" It was definitely the best, most memorable birthday thus far for Kayla, and a huge step into the future that's to come for Kayla and Ruth.
