Katie Ledecky just finished dominating the competition in the 800 meter freestyle at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Ledecky set a world record, and defeated the second place swimmer by over eleven seconds. The race was essentially over just 50 meters into the race. It was an amazing sight.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt confirmed his status as the fastest man on the planet by adding his 4th, 5th and 6th gold medals in London. Bolt won gold medals in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash and 4 x 100 meter dash.
