Rizotto Ristorante In Amherst Is A Winner

Rizotto Ristorante In Amherst Is A Winner
Written by Steve Dowling on 2012-10-03

A new restaurant opened up this past week in Amherst called Rizotto Ristorante. It is delicious. It is an Italian restaurant, yet has a very non-traditional Italian menu. I would highly recommend going there and trying roughly anything off the menu.

The restaurant contains a bar area for drinks, cocktails or just to chat either before or after your meal. There is a back patio that is open for patrons...(Read More)

The eCafe in downtown Buffalo is a nice little restaurant that serves inexpensive salad, wraps, sandwiches, even breakfast. The wraps are $4-6 and they have fairly inexpensive drinks as well. You can either sit inside or outside depending on the weather and your tastes. They will bring the food right to you in a very quick manner. If you are downtown at lunch time on a work day, I would definitely...(Read More)

Amici Restaurant in Kenmore offers terrific Italian food in a quaint setting. They offer pastas, salads, chicken, fish and more. Most of the food is traditional Italian such as chicken parmesan, lasagna and pastas such as fettuccine alfredo.

I have now been there 3 times and I think it gets better each time I am there. I ordered hot chocolate and chicken parmesan. The chicken parmesan comes with...(Read More)

Nic's place is a new Greek Diner in Kenmore. It is very small, but friendly. They serve greek souvlaki's, salads, wraps, subs and burgers. On my trip there, I had a chicken caesar wrap which came with fries. It was very good and I would definitely go again. I had a hot chocolate and a Sierra Mist for $1 each. The wrap with fries was only $7. It is on Elmwood Avenue in Kenmore across from Rite-Aid....(Read More)

A terrific restaurant in Buffalo named Brodo

A terrific restaurant in Buffalo named Brodo
Written by Steve Dowling on 2012-01-02

Brodo Restaurant in Amherst, New York provides very good food at reasonable prices. They do not have a traditional menu like many restaurants, but rather gourmet salads, soups, sandwiches and entrees. Brodo is small with a quaint atmosphere, but it has plenty of tables and a full bar, so seating is never an issue. There is also plenty of parking in the back.

For example, on the salad side, there...(Read More)

La Pizzeria in Kenmore

La Pizzeria in Kenmore
Written by Steve Dowling on 2011-12-10

La Pizzeria in Kenmore has very good pizza and in my opinion some of the best wings in WNY. A single order of wings comes with 12 wings, which is rare. They have Monday and Tuesday specials, a large pizza for $9. They have a mini pack special (medium pizza and single wing) and family pack special (large pizza and double wing). They have subs, fingers, salads, and more. Almost every time I have gone...(Read More)

Every Monday is Moes Monday, in which it is any burrito, chips a side of queso or guacomole, and a drink for just $5.99. It is very delicious food, and although it is a chain, it still has a friendly atmosphere to it, unlike a McDonald's or Subway. I would recommend this over Mighty Taco for...(Read More)

The Olympic Restaurant in Buffalo has great food at reasonable prices. It is a 24 hour diner/restaurant that serves American and Greek foods. It sells all foods on the menu 24 hours a day, including many breakfast specials. There is a daily fish fry at the Olympic that is fantastic. It is a decent piece of fish that comes with choice of salad or soup, bread and choice of potato. It is only $8.99,...(Read More)

Jims Steakout in Buffalo

Jims Steakout in Buffalo
Written by Steve Dowling on 2011-11-11

Jim's Steakout is a WNY staple, with sub shops located in almost every town. Jim's has very good food, although they are somewhat expensive. One nice thing about Jim's is that they have a points card, and it only requires 65 points to get a free 12" sub. My favorite sub their is the chicken finger. I have also heard that the stinger is good, which has both steak and chicken fingers on it. It even...(Read More)
