BUFFALO -- It was supposed to be Buffalo Sabres rookie forward Jack Eichel's party, but the Ottawa Senators had other ideas.

Eichel, the No. 2 pick in the 2015 NHL Draft, scored in his NHL debut, but Kyle Turris scored twice and helped the Senators to a 3-1 win against the Sabres at First Niagara Center on Thursday.
