NFL 2016 Week 12 Lines: Point Spreads, Totals And Complete Betting Odds From Las Vegas

0 YOOZ this

Thanksgiving week is always among the most interesting in the NFL season with three games scheduled for Thursday. That’s especially the case in 2016 since every holiday game, as well as the other two nationally televised games in Week 12, have playoff implications.
The two Thanksgiving afternoon games will go a long way in determining the winners of the NFC North and NFC East. The Detroit Lions are slight favorites against the Minnesota Vikings in a battle of two teams tied for first place. The Washington Redskins need a win on Thursday to have a chance at winning the division, but they are seven-point underdogs in their road game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Las Vegas oddsmakers have taken the betting line for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ visit to the Indianapolis Colts off the board. That’s because the status of quarterback Andrew Luck is unknown as he remains in the concussion protocol just two days before the prime-time contest on Thanksgiving. Pittsburgh is tied for first place in the AFC North, and Indianapolis trails the Houston Texans by just one game in the AFC South.
No matter what the final point spread is, the Steelers will be one of four road favorites in Week 12. The New England Patriots are the biggest favorites of any team, giving eight points to the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. The New York Giants are seven-point favorites in their road game against the winless Cleveland Browns.
Both the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos are one game behind the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West. They’ll face off on “Sunday Night Football,” though both teams have a good chance to win wild-card berths if they can’t win the division. Denver is favored by more than a field goal at home.
The Green Bay Packers are looking to keep their playoff hopes alive when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles on “Monday Night Football. Philadelphia has lost three of their last four games, and they trail the Redskins by 1.5 games for the final NFC postseason berth.
Week 12 marks the first time since Week 3 that no team has a bye.
