Forza Motorsport 4 Review
I bought Forza Motorsport 4 on Black Friday for Xbox and have been playing it a bit lately. Let me just say, it is a fantastic game. The game has Xbox Kinect capability, allowing for players to drive with their hands in an arcade mode, as well as head turning recognition. When playing with a controller, the game is still awesome. There are hundreds of cars dozens of tracks from all around the world which add to the depth of the game.
Xbox and Turn 10 have presented an incredibly well put together package. Forza 4 is a joy to feast upon. The ease of sorting through all the different cars and tracks is very easy. Also, the menus and auto save are very easy to work through. Being able to pick almost any color that the car has been made in is a really cool feature. Also, the amount and detail of upgrades that can be done to the cars are fantastic. The graphics are as beautiful as I have seen in a racing game. There is amazing detail to the cars and beautiful lighting effects from the sun and landscape. I have a Subaru Legacy and the interior of the car looks exactly the same in the game as does my car. The sounds are amazing. Even without a great speaker set, the sounds coming from your engine sound as if a hungry lion sees dinner. The gameplay is outstanding. There is a new rewarding driving model and an improved AI that makes for more intense and satisfying racing. The ability to successfully play with Kinect makes the gameplay even better. This game can last easily until Forza 5. There's really no end to the amount of racing you can do here. There is a career mode, rivals mode, online play, split screen, and Kinect play. IGN gave this game a 9.5 out of 10. I definitely agree.
