Yoozpaper Scrapbooks: Tutorial

February 2, 2012 in Instructions

On Yoozpaper, scrapbooks are a feature where Yoozers can upload photos into albums for later viewing as either an individual photo, album, or photo slideshow. These can be used on an individual level or at a group level. Yoozpaper scrapbooks are a great way to keep your photos in an organized place. The uploader can add a caption to their picture. Once the picture is loaded on to Yoozpaper, anyone that is a fellow Yoozer of that person can view and comment on that picture.

The best part of Yoozpaper scrapbooks are that many people can upload photos to the same album. If there is a large party, anyone that is a member of a created group can upload into that scrapbook. This makes it much quicker and easier to view pictures from a large event or a night out with friends.

How Yoozpaper Groups Work: Tutorial

January 29, 2012 in Instructions

Yoozpaper is a network of online newspapers written by individuals or groups. Yoozpaper allows users to create custom papers based on keywords; scrapbooks of images; and comment on users articles. Yoozpaper allows Yoozers to submit a free press release, create a free online newsletter, submit free articles and creates a free article directory.

Yoozpaper Groups are an incredible innovative way of writing articles and creating scrapbooks. The idea behind Yoozpaper Groups are that groups of fellow Yoozers can collaborate to write articles and posts for created newspapers, as well as upload photos in a group setting. To create a group, the Yoozer can either go to the Create Groups like or to the Groups Home Page. The Yoozer that creates the group becomes the “Editor” of the group. They can also enter a website for that group.  The Yoozer then clicks on the group from the Groups Home Page and goes to the specific group home. Here, the editor has the ability to create a newspaper or scrapbook. Group members can also send an e-mail to a member of their choosing. There are security features built in to the group.

The editor can invite a Yoozer to become of member of their group by going to their profile page, an inviting them to a group. Once the Yoozer accepts, they can write articles and upload photos to a Scrapbook. Note that the editor has final approval for an article to go onto an actual newspaper. Once a Yoozer has had an article approved, they can also write Yoozpaper Direct posts. Any member in a group can upload photos to a scrapbook.

The reason why Yoozers would want to write as a group is that more members can write an article on the same topic, thereby getting out more collaborative articles. It will make Yoozpaper a more social and fun, community-oriented website. Yoozers will be able to create great photo albums, with separate people uploading photos to the same album. It is a great thing to have if there is going to be an event with a lot of people where everyone uploading to the same group will be easy.

Of course, the full navigation menu is shown on this page. At the bottom are links to browse Yoozpaper, the blog, and the Yoozpaper social media pages.

January 24, 2012 in Instructions

Yoozpaper is a network of online newspapers written by individuals or groups. Yoozpaper allows users to create custom papers based on keywords; scrapbooks of images; and comment on users articles. Yoozpaper allows Yoozers to submit a free press release, create a free online newsletter, submit free articles and creates a free article directory.

The member page on Yoozpaper is the home page for the Yoozer. It is the page that the Yoozer is logged in to and contains almost all of the functions that the Yoozer can do. Upon being logged in, the Yoozer will go straight to the member page, which also contains the standard navigational menus. On the left side, the commands are there for the Yoozer to logout. The Yoozer also navigate to edit their profile, change their password, enter a promo code, and get article statistics.

Further down is a link for the Yoozer to create a paper. This is the first step that a Yoozer should take upon registering.

Furthermore, there are links to edit the settings of the paper, write an article on the paper and view the paper. After this is a section where any drafts currently not published for a paper are shown, the Yoozer can link to edit these drafts from here. Below this, the Yoozer can view any articles that have been written. Yoozer can also click a link to edit the already written article. Below this are bookmarks to any paper the Yoozer has subscribed to and links to any newsletter the Yoozer has saved.

On the right side, the Yoozer will see any notifications that they have outstanding. They can accept or deny a fellow Yoozer request, a group request, or see if someone would like to join a group or if any article needs to be approved. Below this are all the fellow Yoozers of the member.
